Phil Duncanson

Phil Duncanson is a Senior Director at AstraZeneca, bringing extensive experience in microbiology, aseptic manufacturing, and sterile pharmaceutical products. They began their career as a Clinical Scientist at the Association of Public Health Laboratories and later worked as a Research Scientist at Invitrogen, focusing on microbiology products. At AstraZeneca, Phil held various leadership roles including Director of Quality Assurance and Aseptic Manufacturing Lead, where they oversaw the formulation and filling of aseptically produced sterile vaccines. Phil earned a BSc in Genetics with Microbiology from the University of Leeds and a Ph.D. in Parasitology from The University of Salford.
