Phil Teare

Phil Teare is the Head of Machine Perception at AstraZeneca, where they utilize high-dimensional data and AI/machine learning to address industrial life science challenges. Previously, Phil served as the Associate Director of ML and Imaging, and held various roles at Zebra Medical Vision Ltd, focusing on deep learning for mammography screening. They were the Owner of Artificial Relevance, where they created a diagnostic application for dyslexia that continues to be sold today. Phil has also held senior development and architectural positions at SDL plc, Pitney Bowes Software, and Ancoris Limited, demonstrating extensive experience in machine learning, web technologies, and software architecture. Phil founded evolu8 ltd., an R&D company specializing in deep learning and evolutionary algorithms.
