Pilar Pasaron

Pilar Pasaron is currently the Government Affairs Head and Director of the AstraZeneca Foundation, where they focus on advancing patient access to innovative treatments. With extensive experience in both the public and private health sectors at national and international levels, they have developed expertise in negotiation within the EU and in multilateral forums such as the UN, WHO, and G20. Pilar previously served as the Deputy Director General for International Relations and Publications at the Spanish Ministry of Health, where they crafted strategic positions and represented Spain in various international fora. They hold multiple degrees, including a Master's in International Relations and a Pharmacy degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
