Raquel Nunes

Raquel Nunes is currently a Global Clinical Program Lead at AstraZeneca and has held the position of Senior Global Development Medical Director. They previously served as an Attending Physician and Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins Medicine from 2016 to 2022, and as an Attending Physician at MedStar Washington Hospital Center from 2012 to 2016. Raquel's earlier experiences include a Research Fellow role at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, as well as serving as an Oncology Fellow at Instituto Portugues De Oncologia and a Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Raquel earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Faculdade de Medicina de Lisboa, where they continue their education.
