Ratan Bhat

Ratan Bhat is currently the Vice President and Global Head of BioPharmaceuticals R&D Business Development at AstraZeneca, a position held since August 2023. Previously, Ratan served as the Global Head of Search & Evaluation for Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism at AstraZeneca from February 2014 to June 2023, managing evaluation activities and a senior global team. Ratan's prior experience includes roles such as Senior Vice President at Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd, Director at AstraZeneca for several departments, and Adjunct Professor at Karolinska Institutet. Ratan holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Colorado Boulder and has engaged in significant contributions to various therapeutic areas, particularly in neuroscience and novel drug discovery.
