Rita Aroeira

Rita Aroeira has extensive experience in scientific communication and project management within the academic and healthcare sectors. From September 2015 to February 2019, Rita served as the Scientific and Communication Manager for the Mind-Brain College at the Universidade de Lisboa, overseeing project management and communication for multiple doctoral programs and organizing national and international scientific meetings. Prior to this role, Rita worked as a Research Fellow at the Instituto de Medicina Molecular, where responsibilities included managing international projects and outreach activities. Rita's academic background includes a PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a specialization in Neurosciences, as well as master's degrees in Science Communication and Medical Biochemistry. Most recently, Rita held a role at AstraZeneca as a Contract Operations Coordinator and Hospital Services & Finance Administrator, focusing on customer service and public contract management.
