Robert Unwin is a Chief Scientist at AstraZeneca BioPharmaceuticals R&D, contributing to both Early and Late Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism (CVRM) initiatives. They also hold the position of Professor Emeritus at UCL and serve as an Honorary Consultant Nephrologist at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. In addition, Robert is a Professor of Nephrology and Physiology at University College London and has been an External Consultant in Translational Science at AstraZeneca R&D. They are pursuing a PhD in Physiology, Pathology and Related Sciences at the University of London and a DSc in Basic and Applied Renal Physiology at Imperial College London, building on their Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Southampton.
