Ron Cecconi

Ron Cecconi possesses extensive experience in procurement and sourcing, currently serving as GCM-PC Hardware for Reseller Channels at AstraZeneca since January 2002. In this role, Ron is responsible for managing a global category sourcing strategy focused on workplace products, overseeing spend exceeding $40 million across over sixty-five countries. Previously, as Global Category Sourcing Manager for IT Infrastructure at AstraZeneca, Ron developed and executed sourcing strategies valued at over $140 million for US locations. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, Ron held various positions at Unisys, managing contracts and procurement, and ensuring effective supplier selection and contract negotiations. Additional experience includes procurement management at United Technologies Corporation and Burroughs Corporation, alongside a strong educational background with a BA in Management and a B.S. in Business Management from Ursinus College.
