Ruan Smit

Ruan Smit is a Medical Advisor in the Respiratory and Immunology department at AstraZeneca. Ruan has served as a pharmacist with experience in various roles, including Medical Science Liaison and Brand Manager. They began their career at the Department of Health Free State and later owned a business while managing a dispensary as a self-employed professional. Ruan holds an MBA, a Master of Pharmacy, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy, all from North-West University. Passionate about empowering others, Ruan focuses on promoting physical and mental well-being within their community and beyond.
