Sam Mowbray

Sam Mowbray is currently an Associate Director and Qualified Person at AstraZeneca, specializing in Development Quality. Sam's experience includes serving as Quality Assurance Manager at the University of Manchester, where significant contributions were made to the establishment of GMP cell therapy facilities and the successful introduction of various PET radiopharmaceuticals. With a background that includes tech transfer and production of cellular therapies at Intercytex, Sam has co-authored research publications and led efforts in quality management and compliance throughout their career. Sam holds a BSc (Hons) in Biology from the University of Manchester and continues to pursue multiple qualifications in pharmaceutical auditing and quality systems.
