Samar Wafik

Samar Wafik has over 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in marketing and training across various disease areas, including rheumatology, dermatology, gastroenterology, and respiratory health. Currently serving as a Senior Product Manager at AstraZeneca since 2018, Samar has previously held positions as Brand Manager at AbbVie and Product Specialist at Roch Laboratories. An MBA graduate from ESLSCA and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from Cairo University, Samar has demonstrated key opinion leader management skills and has engaged as an international and local speaker, leading brand teams and launching new products. Additionally, Samar was instrumental in formulating the Egyptian IBD treatment protocol in collaboration with the Egyptian IBD committee.
