Samia Khan

Samia Khan is currently the Associate Director at AstraZeneca, specializing as an Investigational Toxicologist. With a PhD in Cancer Biology and 15 years of research experience, Samia has developed expertise in adaptive and innate immunology, autoimmunity, and cancer biology. Their background includes leading pharmacology studies focused on anti-tumor activity and contributing to three successful INDs that resulted in FIH studies. Previously, Samia has held positions as a Faculty Member at Rush University, as well as roles at Dragonfly Therapeutics, Inc. and Editas Medicine, where they guided teams in developing innovative cancer therapies. Samia earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Ohio Wesleyan University and completed their dissertation at the University of Miami, under the mentorship of Eckhard R. Podack.
