Shamus Whyte

Shamus Whyte is currently a Board Member at the Delaware BioScience Association and previously served as the Executive Director & General Manager at AstraZeneca from 2011 to 2019. In this role, Shamus was accountable for the Newark Supply Site, overseeing a team of approximately 300 people and managing supply operations that supported $8 billion in sales revenue. Shamus has a strong background in leadership and operational excellence, having held various positions, including Lean Transformation Lead and Senior Director of Business Strategy. Shamus earned a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Rutgers University and a First Class Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The University of Edinburgh.
