Shaon B.

Shaon B. is a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at AstraZeneca, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, they worked as a Bioinformatician and Computational Biologist in a postdoctoral role at Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin from 2023 to 2025. Shaon's earlier experience includes serving as a Research Scientist at Bayer Pharmaceuticals in 2018 and completing their doctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics from 2018 to 2022, where they also earned a PhD in Biology and Computation. They hold both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Therapeutics from McGill University, completed in 2017 and 2013, respectively. Shaon completed their high school education at The American School in Japan in 2009.
