Silvia Galan

Silvia Galan is currently the Associate Director of Bioinformatics at AstraZeneca, where they also serve as a Translational Bioinformatics Scientist. Previously, they held positions at Bristol Myers Squibb as a Senior Scientist in Computational Biology and a Research Scientist. Silvia's academic background includes a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Industry from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from the same institution, and a Master's degree in Data Science from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. They have also gained experience as a Practicum Student at KU Leuven and in Structural Genomics at the Centro Nacional de Análisis Genómico.
