Simon Bradford

Simon Bradford has extensive experience in data engineering and analytics, currently serving as the Insights and Analysis Lead for the Axial Program at AstraZeneca since April 2015, where Simon oversees analytics and AI strategy within the S/4HANA transformation. Previous roles at AstraZeneca include Head of Data Governance Services and Head of Science Data Foundation, focusing on R&D data accessibility and management. Before AstraZeneca, Simon worked at HM Revenue & Customs as the Data Engineering Lead for Debt Analytics, leading projects on complex data systems. Academic credentials include a BA in Theology from the University of Cambridge, a PhD in Geographical Sciences, and a BSc in Physics, both from the University of Bristol. Additionally, Simon serves as an Associate Priest in the Church of England.
