Simon Morton

Simon Morton is an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, where they bring extensive experience as a versatile Synthetic Organic Chemist and Analyst. Simon has directed cross-functional project teams across the UK and Asia, successfully delivering campaigns ranging from 100 to 1200 kg of compound. With a strong background in health, safety, and environment, Simon also serves as a mentor and trainer, leveraging their knowledge of statistical software to enhance process understanding. Simon previously earned an MSc with distinction in Organic Synthesis from the University of Sussex and holds a BSc (Hons) in Applied Chemistry from Nottingham Trent University.
