Sofia Guzzetti

Sofia Guzzetti is an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca, focusing on PKPD/E modeling for drug discovery and development in Oncology. With expertise in analyzing complex systems, Sofia develops efficient simplified models, particularly in the area of targeted protein degradation. They hold a master’s degree in Scientific Computing in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Emory University, where their thesis centered on reduced-order models and uncertainty quantification.
