Sofia Östman is a Senior Director in Animal Science & Technologies at AstraZeneca, having previously served as the Interim Head of Department for CPSS, AST, in 2019. From 2012 to 2017, Sofia was the Head of Research and Development at Swecure AB and Premune AB, overseeing product development and regulatory compliance. Prior to this, Sofia conducted research as a researcher at the University of Gothenburg from 2006 to 2017, focusing on immunoregulation and supervising several PhD students. Sofia holds a Ph.D. in Medicine from the University of Gothenburg, obtained in 2005.
