Sonya Jackson is currently studying Data Science and AI at the University of Essex. Previously, Sonya earned a PhD in Pathology from the University of Leicester, focusing on the analysis of apoptosis levels in colonic mucosa. Sonya has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked as an Experimental Pathologist and Clinical Scientist at AstraZeneca R&D from 2012 to 2018 and held various roles in scientific research and experimental medicine until 2021.
