Stephen Valerio, MS, is currently the US Group Medical Lead for Liver Cancers at AstraZeneca, where they lead a team of US Medical Affairs professionals across multiple liver cancer initiatives. Previously, they served as the Senior Director of Oncology Medical Training, establishing a new training function and unifying global teams. With extensive experience in scientific communications and publications across various biotech companies, Valerio has contributed significantly to the field of oncology. They have also been involved in coaching rugby at the Pleasanton Cavaliers Rugby Club. Valerio completed the Advanced Leadership Programme at Cambridge Judge Business School in 2019.
