Stephen Wiviott

Stephen Wiviott is the Global Clinical Head of Cardiovascular at AstraZeneca, overseeing late-stage clinical development in biopharmaceuticals. With over two decades of experience, they served as a Senior Investigator at the TIMI Study Group and have chaired the TIMI Clinical Events Committee, contributing to pivotal clinical trials in cardiometabolic diseases. Previously, Wiviott held roles as the Vice President of Clinical Trials Research and Administration at Mass General Brigham and was a senior physician at Brigham and Women's Hospital. An accomplished educator, they hold the position of Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and have dedicated their career to advancing clinical practice and mentoring the next generation of medical professionals.
