Susan Critchlow

Susan Critchlow is an experienced pharmaceutical leader currently serving as the Executive Director at AstraZeneca, where they lead UK Bioscience in Oncology. With a robust background in academic and industrial oncology research, they have worked extensively in tumour biology, including roles focusing on tumour drivers, DNA repair, hormone-related therapies, and immune oncology. Prior to joining AstraZeneca in 2001, Critchlow completed post-doctoral studies at Cancer Research UK, where they significantly advanced the understanding of DNA repair mechanisms, and earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Leicester.
