Sydney George

Sydney George is currently the Medical Evidence Lead at AstraZeneca, where they focus on real-world evidence, biostatistics, and health economics. Previously, Sydney worked as a Statistical Data Analyst for York Region, contributing to public health efforts during the COVID-19 response, and held various roles at GSK, including Health Outcomes Manager. They gained experience as a Data Analytics & Surveillance Intern at BlueDot Inc and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Data Science Graduate Fellow at McMaster University. Sydney holds a Bachelor's of Science in Health Science with a Biology Minor from the University of Waterloo and is pursuing two Master’s degrees in Health Research Methodology and Biostatistics.
