Szu-Ta Chen

Szu-Ta (Starr) Chen, MD, PhD, MPH is an accomplished Global Clinical Lead specializing in clinical development, particularly in gastroenterology and immunology. They have over a decade of experience as a physician scientist, with notable roles in both clinical practice and hospital management. Currently, Szu-Ta leads global clinical trials in immunology and gastroenterology at AstraZeneca, following their tenure at Takeda. They co-founded the Boston Taiwanese Physicians Association and previously served as a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Szu-Ta holds multiple advanced degrees, including an MD and a PhD in Toxicology from National Taiwan University, and an MPH from Harvard.
