Tawny Javaherpour

Tawny Javaherpour is an experienced biomedical engineer currently serving as Associate Director at AstraZeneca. With a robust background in TCR, TIL, CAR-T, and recombinant FVIII manufacturing, they possess expertise in late-stage process development, root cause investigations, and GMP operations. Tawny has previously held positions at Takeda, Kite Pharma, and Instil Bio, where they contributed to significant advancements in cell therapy technologies and process engineering. They earned a BS in Biological Sciences with a minor in Business Management from the University of California, Irvine, and a MS in Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
