Thomas Hammond

Thomas Hammond is currently a Project Toxicologist at AstraZeneca, following a progression that includes roles as a Discovery Safety Specialist and a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Basel. They earned their PhD in Reactive Metabolites and a Master’s with Distinction in Pharmacology from the University of Liverpool, where they also completed their undergraduate studies in Pharmacology. Throughout their career, Thomas has specialized in the characterization of drug-induced injuries and the development of analytical techniques for assessing drug safety.
