Timothy Break

Timothy Break is currently the Associate Director of Bacteriology at AstraZeneca, where they lead pre-clinical immune therapy development aimed at treating bacterial infections. They have a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where their research focused on the role of antioxidant enzymes during Listeria monocytogenes infection. Prior to AstraZeneca, Timothy held various positions including Manager of Assay Development at MESO SCALE DIAGNOSTICS and Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, where they investigated immunological responses to mucosal infections. Additionally, they completed internships in analytical chemistry at Sid Richardson and Alcon.
