Timothy Simpson

Timothy Simpson has over a decade of experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, holding various roles in quality systems, regulatory information management, and patient safety. Beginning as a Production Technician at Trevigen, Inc. from July 2009 to July 2011, Timothy manufactured critical reagents for cancer research. Timothy then served at GeneDx as the Quality System Coordinator, managing document control software, and as an Equipment Coordinator, ensuring the proper functioning of genetic testing equipment from July 2011 to July 2016. Following that, Timothy worked at AstraZeneca from July 2016, initially as Manager of Regulatory Information Systems, overseeing the governance of regulatory knowledge systems, and advancing to the position of Associate Director of Patient Safety Business Development and currently serving as Director of Patient Safety Business Relationships since July 2022. Timothy holds a degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, graduating with a 3.87 GPA.
