Tojo James

Tojo James is a Senior Data Scientist in Bioinformatics at AstraZeneca since 2023. Previously, they served as a Postdoctoral Researcher focusing on Oncology at Karolinska Institutet from 2018 to 2020 and completed a PhD in Bioinformatics with a focus on autoimmune diseases at the same institution in 2018. Tojo began their career in bioinformatics with an internship at ScilifeLab in 2010 and has since amassed extensive experience in multiomics, data integration, and machine learning in the life sciences. They also hold a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology Engineering from the University of Calicut, earned in 2007.
