Tom Diethe

Tom Diethe is an AI Science Leader at AstraZeneca, where they currently serve as Executive Director and Head of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence. With a robust background in applied science and software engineering, Tom previously held roles at Amazon as an Applied Science Manager and at Microsoft as a Researcher. They completed their PhD at University College London and contributed to academia as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate and Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Bristol. Tom has also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at QinetiQ and as a Software Engineer at BMJ Publishing Group.
