Weiping Wang

Weiping Wang is the Director of Oncology Bioscience at AstraZeneca, where they lead drug discovery and development projects focused on oncology. Previously, they served as a Senior Scientist at FORMA Therapeutics, directing anti-cancer drug discovery efforts and validating novel immune-oncology hypotheses. Their experience includes significant roles at Astellas Pharma, where they managed teams in drug discovery across multiple disease areas, and as a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard Medical School, where they made impactful discoveries in E3 ligase-mediated proteolysis. Weiping holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Virginia and has earned both a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Fudan University.
