Wilfredo Rivera

Wilfredo Rivera, P.E. CPP, is the Director of Packaging Design and Serialization at AstraZeneca, bringing over thirty years of experience in management, engineering, and plant operations within the medical device, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. Previously, Rivera held various roles including Principal Packaging Engineer at AstraZeneca, Sr. Secondary Process Industrial Engineer at MedImmune, and Project Manager at Morrison Knudsen Corporation. They have successfully led critical projects focused on packaging innovations, cost reduction strategies, and optimization of manufacturing processes. Rivera earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Universidad de Puerto Rico - Mayaguez Campus.
