Wilhelm Ridderstråle

Wilhelm Ridderstråle is currently a Global Clinical Programme Lead at AstraZeneca. They completed their medical internship at Skaraborgs Sjukhus from 1997 to 1999 and subsequently held various roles at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, including residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, and positions as Consultant and Interventional Cardiologist until 2006. Wilhelm pursued a Clinical Research Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, University of Alberta, from 2008 to 2009 and worked as a Clinical Research Physician at AstraZeneca from 2014 to 2020. They hold an MD from Uppsala University, a PhD in Medicine from Göteborgs University, and a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Universität Basel.
