Wunan Zhou

Wunan Zhou, MD, MPH, MBA, is currently a Global Clinical Development Senior Medical Director at AstraZeneca, specializing in Late Cardiovascular Renal Metabolism. Previously, Wunan served as a Staff Clinician- Cardiologist at the National Institutes of Health, where they were the principal investigator on studies focused on inflammation's role in myocardial perfusion and heart failure. Wunan completed a Cardiovascular Imaging Fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, developing expertise in PET myocardial perfusion imaging. They also held fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and completed their residency in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Wunan holds an MD from Stony Brook University, an MPH from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and is pursuing an Executive MBA at MIT Sloan School of Management.
