Yanni Hao

Yanni Hao serves as the Head of Center of Oncology Data Excellence and Executive Director of Global Medical Affairs at AstraZeneca since September 2024, overseeing teams that focus on data strategy, real-world data, and innovative research solutions. Previous positions include Head of HEOR Analytics at Gilead Sciences, managing in-house evidence generation across the portfolio, and Executive Director of Global RWE & Data Science at Novartis Oncology, where Yanni built a global team for evidence planning. Additional roles at Novartis and The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson include leadership in health outcomes strategy, market access, and epidemiological research. Yanni's academic background includes a PhD from the University of Chicago.
