Yao Cheng

Yao (Yvonne) Cheng is an MBA candidate at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, where they are also an Advancing Women in Business Scholar, graduating in 2022. They have extensive experience in corporate affairs and healthcare strategy, having previously worked as a Senior Manager in Business Planning at Novartis Pharmaceuticals, where they deepened their understanding of the U.S. drug industry landscape. Before Novartis, Yao garnered seven years of experience in Shanghai, including roles at KPMG and Roche, where they honed their financial analysis and project management skills. Currently, Yao holds the position of Associate Director, Rare Disease Policy Advocacy Lead at AstraZeneca, continuing to leverage their expertise in a fast-paced environment.
