Yong Lu

Yong Lu is a seasoned pharmaceutical patent attorney with extensive experience in patent support functions for various stages of drug development. Currently serving as Director of Patents at AstraZeneca, they provide expertise in worldwide patent procurement, portfolio development, and IP strategy. Prior to this role, they held positions at reputable firms and companies, including Senior Counsel at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Special Counsel at Cooley LLP. Yong earned a J.D. in Intellectual Property from the University of Connecticut School of Law and holds advanced degrees in chemistry from the University of Notre Dame and Shandong University.
