George

George, Qijun Zhu has a solid work experience in the field of data analytics. George, Qijun is currently working at ASTRI - Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute as the Chief Engineer, leading the data analytics team. Prior to this role, they served as the Principal Engineer and Senior Lead Engineer in the same organization.

Before joining ASTRI, George worked at We Software Limited as a Senior Analyst Programmer for four years. George, Qijun also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Hong Kong Baptist University for two years, conducting research in their field of expertise.

Earlier in their career, George gained research and development experience at IBM and Microsoft, contributing to their technological advancements in engineering.

George Qijun Zhu received their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from Tianjin University in 2004. George, Qijun then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from the same university, completing their studies in 2007. Following this, George pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, which they obtained in 2011.
