Andy Ryan is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in planetary science and remote sensing. Ryan served as Adjunct Faculty at Mesa Community College, where Ryan taught Introduction to Geology. At Arizona State University, Ryan worked as a Research Assistant, designing and conducting radiometric experiments related to planetary soils, and also served as a Teaching Assistant in Geology labs. With a strong focus on NASA-related projects, Ryan interned at the Johnson Space Center and Goddard Spaceflight Center. Ryan's postdoctoral roles at the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur and University of Arizona involved developing novel modeling approaches for analyzing thermal properties of planetary surfaces and managing international teams assessing asteroid sample properties from NASA's OSIRIS-REx mission. Currently, Ryan holds the position of Senior Payload Scientist at AstroForge. Ryan holds both a Master's Degree and a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from Arizona State University.
