Ramon Navarro

Head of Optical Infrared Instrumentation Division at NOVA-ASTRON

Ramon Navarro is the Head of Optical Infrared R&D for NOVA, where they lead the Optical Infrared Instrumentation Division, focusing on the design and testing of astronomical instrumentation for major telescopes. With a background in project management and systems engineering, they have played a key role in multinational teams, delivering innovative optical and mechanical designs. Previously, they were a project manager at ASML and directed European projects for the OPTIMOS-EVE consortium. Ramon holds a Master of Science in Applied Physics from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven. They are also the founder and CEO of Tiny Telescope, established in 2024.
