Brian Rainey -

Brian Rainey has over 20 years of work experience in various cybersecurity and IT infrastructure roles. Brian is currently serving as the Senior Manager of Cybersecurity and IT Infrastructure at Astronautics Corporation of America, a position they started in July 2022.

Prior to their current role, Brian worked at Accenture as a Manager of XDR, Accenture Security. In this role, they advised and assisted global and Fortune 50 clients in EDR/XDR technology adoption and implementation. Brian also played a key role in building a sustainable practice to support client endpoint security needs. Brian'stenure at Accenture lasted from July 2021 to August 2022.

Before their time at Accenture, Brian worked at Allstate as the Manager of Data Loss Prevention from August 2020 to July 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Endpoint and Data Security Architect at Alight Solutions from November 2018 to August 2020. In this role, they successfully integrated security controls and technologies for endpoint and DLP during the acquisition of another company. Brian also designed a 3-year strategic roadmap for endpoint and DLP to enhance data and system security, improved compliance of endpoint security controls, and identified critical gaps in endpoint and DLP posture.

From January 2015 to November 2018, Brian held the position of Senior Manager of Endpoint Security at Allstate. Brian was responsible for managing endpoint security operations and ensuring the security of the organization's endpoints. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Manager of Infrastructure at Allstate Insurance Company from May 1999 to January 2015.

Brian's professional journey began in the US Navy, where they worked as a Network Engineer from June 1993 to December 1997. During their time in the Navy, Brian acquired valuable skills in network engineering and security.

Overall, Brian Rainey has a wealth of experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and endpoint security, and has demonstrated their ability to lead and implement effective security measures in various organizations throughout their career.

Brian Rainey obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Phoenix from 2002 to 2005. In April 2021, they also obtained the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification from GIAC Certifications.
