Liam Murphy

Liam Murphy has a diverse range of work experience. Liam began their career as a Caddie at PARK RIDGE COUNTRY CLUB from May 2012 to August 2018. From September 2018 to July 2020, they worked at Marquette University as a Student Help Desk Analyst/Help Desk Student Lead, where they provided technical support to students and faculty. During the same period, they also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant.

In 2020, Liam joined Northwestern Mutual as a Test Engineering Intern, where they gained experience in Agile software development and learned new skills in JavaScript and the React framework.

Currently, Liam is employed at Astronautics Corporation of America. Liam started as a Software Engineer I in June 2021 and was promoted to Software Engineer II in July 2022. In this role, they have developed secure Linux-based embedded airborne server software, built web-based tools using JavaScript and React, and written shell and Python scripts for avionics simulation and testing.

Overall, Liam's work experience demonstrates their ability to adapt to different roles and industries, develop technical skills, and contribute to various projects and tasks.

Liam Murphy attended Fenwick High School from 2013 to 2017. Liam then went on to Marquette University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Spanish from 2017 to 2021. Currently, Liam is pursuing a Master of Science degree in Computing at Marquette University, starting in 2021 and expected to finish in 2022.
