Sophia Wright

Sophia Wright's work experience begins in 2014 as a Wait Staff at Culinary Infusion, where they performed various tasks including prepping, serving, and cleaning. In 2017, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Taylor Dynamometer, where they collaborated with engineers and gained experience in SolidWorks and SolidWorks PDM. Starting in 2019, they joined Carthage College and took on roles such as a Carthage Research Neuroscience Lab Assistant, where they worked on the development of a microscope framework and a video analysis software. Sophia also served as a Student Researcher in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience in both 2019 and 2020, where they created a python-based video analysis software for studying the optokinetic response in zebrafish. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Astronautics Corporation of America as a Software Engineer.

Sophia Wright obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Carthage College, where they studied from 2017 to 2021. In addition, they acquired a SolidWorks Associate Certification (CSWA) from Dassault Systèmes in April 2017.
