Alex Bell

Alex Bell has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Alex started their career in the British Army's Intelligence Corps from 1999 to 2002. Alex then worked at Hewlett-Packard as an EMEA Data Specialist from 2002 to 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Marketing Executive at Farnell. Following that, Alex held the position of EMEA Technical Marketing Manager at CommVault Systems from 2009 to 2014. Alex then worked as the Global Marketing Operations at Pure Storage from 2014 to 2016. Alex's most recent role was as the Director of Marketing Operations at Confluent, where they managed and scaled various marketing operations initiatives from 2016 to 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Senior Director of Marketing Operations at Astronomer, starting in March 2023.

Alex Bell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Western Governors University in 2020. Additionally, Alex obtained several certifications including ICAgile Certified Professional - Agility in Marketing from ICAgile in 2022, WGU Micro-Credentials in Marketing, Applied Business Skills, Human Resource Management, and Business Essentials from Western Governors University in 2020. Alex also achieved the DiscoverOrg Marketing certification in September 2018 and the LeanData Routing Certified certification from LeanData, Inc. in February 2021.
