Mark Nickelson has over two decades of experience in game day operations and professional development, currently serving as the Professional Development Coordinator for Galena Park ISD since July 2000. Nickelson has held various roles in game day operations for prominent sports teams and venues, including the Houston Texans, Houston Rockets, BBVA Compass Stadium, Houston Astros, University of Houston, Rice University, and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where responsibilities have included creating video packages, operating cameras, and managing social media content. Earlier in Nickelson's career, work as a Master Control Operator at ESPN involved controlling content timing for major sports broadcasts. Nickelson holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Radio, TV & Film from Sam Houston State University.
