Lorenzo Capra

Lorenzo Capra is an accomplished aerospace engineer with a strong academic background from Politecnico di Milano, where Lorenzo obtained a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the same field. Lorenzo has experience as a Visiting Researcher at the European Space Agency, focusing on hardware-in-the-loop validation of AI-based spacecraft guidance algorithms for proximity operations. Currently, Lorenzo serves as a GNC Engineer at Astroscale and has previously worked as a Teaching Assistant, instructing graduate and undergraduate courses in Space Systems Engineering and Operations and Analytical Mechanics.
