Michael Brown

Michael Brown is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in advanced programs and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Advanced Programs at Astroscale since November 2019, Michael has also held roles as a Senior System Engineer and Consultant within the same organization. Prior experience includes positions as a Consultant, Product Manager, and Program Manager at BridgeComm, Inc., and Project Manager and Assembly Integration and Test Lead at Surrey Satellite Technology US LLC. Earlier career highlights include roles such as GPS III Payload Test Lead at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company and Systems Engineer at Raytheon Missile Systems. Michael's military service includes serving as a Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC) for the US Army. Michael holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the University of Denver, a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso, and an Associate of Arts from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
