Rob S. is an experienced leader in the aerospace and communications sectors with a robust background in business development, project management, and engineering. Currently serving as Director of LEX Services at Astroscale since June 2020, Rob oversees the entire Life Extension Services value chain. Previous roles include Director of Global Business Development at CesiumAstro, where strategic initiatives led to over $100M in sales pipeline development, and Production Manager for OneWeb, managing complex logistics and production challenges for communication systems valued over $200M. With experience spanning from Head of Business for Launch and Orbital Services at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd to various managerial positions at Airbus Defence and Space, Rob has consistently demonstrated expertise in process improvement, strategic relationship building, and project execution. Rob holds a BEng (Hons) in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Plymouth.
