Ryohei Gotoh is a Senior Mission & Systems Engineer at Astroscale, where responsibilities include leading safety efforts for the ADRAS-J rendezvous satellite project and conducting safety analyses such as collision safety analysis, FDIR design validation, FMECA, and FTA. Previously, Ryohei held roles at ispace, inc. as both a Lead Thermal Engineer and a Thermal Engineer, focusing on the thermal design and operation of a commercial lunar lander. Experience also includes serving as a Propulsion and Thermal Engineer at Mitsubishi Electric, contributing to propulsion system design for satellites and spacecraft, and working as a Visiting Researcher at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory on evaporator and fluid loop systems. Additional research experience includes designing a nano-satellite's attitude and orbit control system at the Sharjah Center for Astronomy & Space Sciences. An early career internship at JGC involved project control and management for LNG projects.
